Why is this character specifically such a big deal, you might ask? Well, the Task Force 141 operator Simon “Ghost” Riley has been a long-time fan-favourite since his original reveal in the old Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 back in that 360 release. It’s due out later this year, so you’ll have to get your pre-order in pretty soon if you’re looking to access this new character in COD: Mobile. To clear up some confusion ahead of time, Modern Warfare 2 is not the old 360-era release but is instead the sequel to the more recent Call of Duty: Modern Warfare that dropped in 2019. This character is the fan-favourite Ghost, and this is the only way to get access to the operator within COD: Mobile. Fans of the Call of Duty series will be excited to learn that if you pre-order the upcoming next entry into the title, Modern Warfare 2, you’ll receive a new character for use within the mobile adaptation of the popular multiplayer shooter Call of Duty: Mobile.
